Interior islands continued to burn through the night, with low-to-moderate intensity.

Long Fire:

The Long Fire is unstaffed and remains in a patrol and monitor status. Minimal fire behavior continues to be observed.

Outlook
Planned Actions

Trout Fire:

Continue to improve, patrol and monitor firelines along eastern and southern flanks of the fire where
feasible. Hold Sherman Pass Road and Bald Mountain Ridge. Utilize crews to improve and patrol the trail
from the termination of Mosquito Meadow Rd to Big Meadow and the adjacent ridge to the west,
enhancing protection to the community of Horse Meadow.

Long Fire: Maintain patrol status on the fire and reassess periodically to ensure no changes in status. Suppression repair activities in progress.

Projected Incident Activity

Trout Fire:

12 hours: Interior islands will continue to consume. Incremental spread to the south is possible from short range spotting. Sparse fuels mitigate significant growth to the east. Spread to the west and south is possible.

24 hours: Crews will continuously monitor and provide updates as needed.

48 hours: Crews will continuously monitor and provide updates as needed.

Long Fire:

12/24/48 hours: Fire activity remains minimal with little potential for movement or spread.
