San Miguel/ Mora County News ReleaseLAS VEGAS - The following communities of Canovas Canyon, Trout Springs, Gallinas, Lower Canyon Road, El Porvenir, Porvenir Canyon, and Big Pine have been downgraded to SET STATUS.
TAOS, NM –May 11, 2022 –The Camino Real Ranger District of the Carson National Forest will close Thursday morning due to the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon Fires. Forest visitors will need to vacate Forest Service lands within the district by 6:00  a.m., Thursday, May 12, when the closure begins.
