Texas A&M Forest Service is in unified command with local resources on the Lincoln Smith fire in Blanco County, Texas. The fire began on Sunday, June 5th. The fire is burning in rough terrain in juniper and oak woodlands. The Marble Falls Initial Attack group of 2 dozers and overhead personnel was requested, as well as one type 1 helicopter, and Travis County Starflight to assist with water bucket drops.
No evacuations or closures are currently in effect.
