Buddy Fire Morning Update, March 14th, 2022 at 10:00AMSize: 1000 acresContainment: 70%Date Started: 03/13/2022Cause: Unknown Overnight, crews on the Buddy Fire bumped containment to 70% after using favorable weather conditions to conduct a burnout operation and build and strengthen containment line. 2 dozer crews and one engine from TAMFS Fredericksburg Task Force, and 2 dozer crews from TAMFS Smithville Task Force are assisting. No closures or evacuations are currently in place.
