Size: 547 acresContainment: 100%Cause: Under Investigation Structures and homes lost: none Crews returned to check the fire this morning, and measured its size with a GPS Unit. The fire was measured at 547 acres.

They're are currently three bulldozers working to contain the Burke Fire which is at 40% containment. The dozer crews are making good progress in spite of muddy terrain that is causing access difficulties. All operations are normal at this time.
Burke Fire Evening Update

The Burke Fire is now 100% contained as of 7:00pm this evening. All crews are released from the site, and will return in the morning to measure the final acreage with GPS. No structures or homes were lost in this fire.
