Los Establos Fire July 17, 2022 Final UpdateSize: 107 acresContainment: 100%Cause: LightningStart Date: July 15, 2022Today crews were back on the Los Establos Fire working to patrol and monitor the fire. After making several passes around the edge of the fire they found no hot areas and have pushed containment to 100%. Through good cooperation between local fire departments and Texas A&M Forest Service a total of 16 structures were protected from the fire.

Los Establos Fire July 16, 2022 5:00pmSize: 107 acresContainment: 90%Cause: Under InvestigationStart Date: July 15, 2022Last night resources were able to wrap the fire using dozers and made good progress suppressing the fire with the engines present on scene. Local departments worked in Unified Command with Texas A&M Forest Service to monitor and identify hot spots around the fire perimeter. Working together all resources protected ten structures that were threatened.
