Seep Draw Complex Final Update

Seep Draw ComplexLocation: approximately 10 miles southeast of MertzonSize: 539 acresContainment: 100%The Seep Draw Complex was multiple roadside starts that grew into 3 separate fires within close proximity to each other. The fires were 520 acres, 18 acres, and 1 acre. The fire has been turned back over to local resources and all state and TIFMAS resources are off the fire.

Seep Draw ComplexLocation: approximately 10 miles southeast of MertzonSize: 514 acresContainment: 95%Firefighters will return to the fire this morning to monitor and mop up hot spots around the perimeter. Windy conditions and warmer afternoon temperatures will be monitored today to determine if any possible problems could arise. More accurate mapping of the fire area will be performed today.

Seep Draw ComplexLocation: approximately 10 miles southeast of MertzonSize: 514 acresContainment: 95%Multiple roadside starts were ignited this afternoon and burned together creating one larger fire. Firefighters made considerable progress on the containment of the Seet Draw Complex today. Multiple structures were threatened but no losses were reported. All resources are off the fire line for the night. Landowners will continue to monitor the fire overnight.
