INCIDENT FACTS:

Incident Start Date: July 30, 2021 Incident Start Time: 2:02 PM Incident Type: Wildland Fire Incident Location: River Complex, Klamath National Forest, Trinity County

Total acreage: 196,250 Haypress/Summer: 190,310 Cronan: 5,940 Containment: 55% Resources: 793 personnel, 13 hand crews, 8 planes, 10 helicopters, 59 engines, 14 dozers, 19 water tenders, 13 masticators, 4 skid steers. CURRENT SITUATION:

 

The weather will continue to get warmer and drier as higher pressure arrives in the next couple of days. The Cronan Fire remains inactive. All equipment back haul has been completed and two engines are patrolling. The Cecilville/ Summerville areas have crews patrolling to address hot spots as they arise. The Sugarhill area has ground crews performing mop-up, line reinforcement, and back hauling equipment.

 

Fire personnel in the Little Mill Creek area continue handline construction and addressing hot spots with hose lines that are in place. The Tangle Blue Spot fire has three wildland fire modules going direct with handline construction and aircraft support. Two hotshot crews are spiked-out at Stoddard Lake and will be constructing direct hand line. The Eagle Creek/Minnehaha area has firefighters continuing line construction with the help of two additional crews reassigned from other sections of the fire.

 

The Coffee Creek crews are mostly in patrol status and monitoring for any hot spots.
