Update 5/08/2022
| Location: North of Ocate NM, approximately 46 miles north of Las Vegas, NM Fire Update: Throughout the fire, smoke may be visible as fuels continue to be consumed. Crews are mopping up the perimeter and working the unsecured fireline along the northwest edge. Crews will also work in the southeast corner where several pockets of fuels are actively burning.
