Crews Gap Fire is currently at 20% containment. Dozers from Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) continue constructing containment line around the perimeter of the fire. Winds have diminished, reducing fire activity providing responders a chance to make good progress with line construction on the South side of the fire. Local responders continue to work in unified command assisting with suppression efforts. Crews will continue to work through the night and aviation resources are expected to be back up first thing in the morning.
