The Dempsey Fire showed very little activity last night, several burn out operations to reinforce containment lines occurred and all lines have held, higher humidity set in which also contributed to lower fire activity last night, containment was raised this morning to 18% with no increase in acreage.

A wind shift is predicted today with the onset of a cool front moving into the area which will have winds blowing from the North.

Crews are working to reinforce the South line of the fire with anticipation of this wind shift in hopes that the fire will burn back on itself. Aviation resource will be used again today to assist with controlling the containment lines. 
 
FM Rd 4 still remained closed from HWY 180 to HWA 254, the town of Graford has not issued any evacuations at this time.
