Location: approximately 20 miles southwest of Sterling City
Size: estimated 3,878 acres
Containment: 75%
Last night, crews were successful in stopping the forward progression of the Edmunson Fire. Three homes in the area were threatened and saved by TAMFS and local fire department resources. Multiple pieces of equipment were used to construct containment line around the fire perimeter. Crews will return this morning to continue containment line construction and will begin to mop up any hot spots close to the line.
