Cause: Transformer Failure
At 1:00 pm on March 17,2022 Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) had responded to a wildfire in Randall County. Resources on scene are TAMFS Amarillo Task Force, Randall County Fire Department, Potter County Fire, Lake Tanglewood Volunteer Fire Department, Canyon Fire Dept, and Palisades Volunteer Fire Dept. Crews will continue with holding and containment operations.
38 homes and 61 outbuildings were threatened and saved.
Evacuation over S Blessen Rd surrounding neighborhoods has been lifted and residents are able to return to their homes.
