Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) dozers and local fire department crews are continuing to construct containment line and provide structure protection at this time. Fire is showing moderate fire behavior due to decrease in wind speed, increased relative humidity, and firefighting crew's efforts. Air resources were utilized earlier this evening to provide overhead visibility and conduct retardant drops.
Areas around the fire are currently closed, including parts of Highway 771 and CR 2310 E.
