Cause: Under Investigation by Local Authorities 

State resources from Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) and Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) continued with suppression efforts and line construction around the Plum Bluff Fire throughout the night. The TIFMAS strike team continued structure protection and the fire was contained around 3:00am. Due to the high winds the fire showed significant activity especially through the night.

Evacuations and Closures

Seven local residents were evacuated from the area, but have been allowed back to their homes.

Damages and Injuries

At this point, no injuries from either the public or first responders have been reported.
