Cause: Fireworks, human-caused
Air resources continue to work the head of the fire, winds died down, and forward progression has been stopped. Fire still active on flanks, Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) dozers continue to construct and improve control lines on both flanks. Local resources are patrolling, mopping up, and securing the control lines.
Resources are ready to respond to any initial attack if the need arises.
