Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) and local fire department personnel have made progress in containing this fire. Forward progression has been stopped and heavy equipment is actively working on containment lines around the perimeter. Fire behavior is moderate at this time, with a wind shift to the northwest expected this evening.
