Yesterday, the fireline from Bald Mountain to Commodore Pass was controlled, increasing containment to 93 percent.  On the west end of the fire, suppression repair and seeding of dozer lines was completed.  Helicopters continued backhauling supplies and equipment.  The hot spot at the head of Soldier Creek drainage has not expanded.  Thunderstorms brought minimal moisture to the fire area. 

Great Basin Team 5 hosted a public meeting in Stockton last night.  More than 100 residents, concerned citizens, and local dignitaries attended to hear subject matter experts discuss the fire, monsoonal moisture, the real possibility of post-fire debris flows, and assistance available to local residents.  A video of the meeting will be available on Facebook today @UtahFireInfo.                                                 
Today, the wildland fire module and hot shot crews, assisted by aerial assets, will continue felling snags and working towards full containment of the fireline.
