OtherThe Graff Point Fire started on Friday, July 12, 2024 from a lightning strike on private property.
Great Basin Complex Incident Management Team 6 took command of the fire Monday, July 15 at 6 a.m. Firefighting efforts were successful. Management of the fire has transitioned back to the local unit, Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands on July 20, 2024 at 6 a.m.

| Weather Concerns | Friday (Synopsis): Partly cloudy skies gave way to afternoon showers and thunderstorms across the area. Winds were light and terrain driven at less than 10 mph. Above normal temperatures with highs in the lower 90s were observed while relative humidity dropped to the lower 20s range. Saturday: Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are again expected to develop along higher terrain. Probability of any rain is around 70% with 40% chance of a wetting rain of 0.10 or more. Primary threat will be gusty outflow winds, cloud to ground lightning and brief heavy rainfall. Temperatures will not change muchwith highs in the upper80s and relative humidity in the mid 20 percent range in the afternoon. Sunday through Thursday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms will developeach afternoon through much of the week as trapped monsoon moisture under a high pressure ridge remains over the region. Temperatures will remain abovenormal despite additional monsoon moisture rising to the upper 80s with relative humidity during the day in the 20s and only moderate recoveries at night between 40-50%. Overall winds will be diurnally driven in the absence of thunderstorm outflows at 10 mph or less. |
