Bridge Creek Fire

The Bridge Creek Fire started on July 19th, 2024. It is located 11 miles north of Keller and estimated at 3998 acres.

Fire managers feel positive about the work on the Bridge Creek Fire and it is so far remaining inside of the fire lines built around it. Increase in acreage is a result of better mapping due to a recent IR flight and continued burning inside of the fire lines. Fire fighters are taking advantage of the more seasonable temps, lighter winds and higher humidity to extinguish the fire, protect structures and make sure fire lines are robust.
