The Thunder Fire started on July 24 approximately 2 miles northwest of Williams Lake on the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District.
The Thunder Fire is currently being managed by the local unit. Resources on the fire include two engines and overhead. Firefighters will continue mop up with continued work on hot spots within the fire perimeter.
