FireYesterday, interior fuels consumed on the Trout fire and the Borel Fire was active, mostly on the eastern edge, in the south fork of Erskine creek. KERNVILLE, CA, August 1, 2024 – The U.S. Forest Service and California Interagency Incident Management Team 11, in unified command with Kern County Fire Department and Kern County Sheriffs Department, is pleased to announce the reduction of selected evacuation orders previously imposed due to the Borel Fire.
