We have had many successes, including the work highlighted in this video on in the Alder Creek area, but the ongoing hot and dry weather is presenting new challenges today.On the west side, we face significant difficulties holding the fireline due to these conditions, abundant fuels, and steady winds. Despite these obstacles, our fire crews and engines continue to employ tactics to protect homes and infrastructure.
